Hoe anders kan ik laten zien hoe ‘mijn’ stad is, dan met foto’s? Iedere dag in maart zal ik een panorama foto maken van een plek waar ik ben: project panorama. Ik ga er niet speciaal heen, maar passeer de plek tijdens mijn normale bezigheden. Mijn bedoeling is om jullie te laten zien hoe mijn dagelijks leven eruit ziet. Hoe Singapore er uit ziet als je er woont (als expat) en hoe het is om je een stad eigen te maken.
Aangezien ik eind maart nog voor een korte tijd kom buurten in Nederland, zullen er aan het eind van deze maand ook foto’s van Nederland te zien zijn. Leuk voor mijn vrienden hier, maar ook reden om het project langer dan een maand vol te houden. Er is immers genoeg te zien hier!
How else can I show you what ‘my’ city is like, than by showing you photos? Every day in March, I’ll make a panorama photo some place in the city: project panorama. I’m not going to places for a photo, but I’ll take a picture while passing by during a normal day. My intention is to show you how my normal day life is. How you see Singapore when you live there (as an expat) and how it feels to make a city your own place.
Because I’m in Holland for a short while end of March, I’ll also post some Dutch landscapes. Nice for my friends in Singapore, but also a good reason to extend the project with a month. There is so much to see here!

Dit is het kruispunt waar wij aan wonen Altijd druk rond lunchtijd.

Dag 3/Day 3: Shophouses in Joo Chiat
Op donderdaochtend wandel ik met een groep expatvrouwen. Deze week in Joo Chiat.

Na werk een korte wandeling en lunch met twee dames.

Omdat er geshopt moest worden.
